The Pu Peo people have the notion that keeping the forest is to hold the source of water, the god of water is the forest god!? The worshiping ceremony will be displayed on the forest banana or banana leaves, the altar is usually built from green bamboo trees, about 2 meters high, facing the high mountain. The square rice is crushed, shaped into a cake, chopped and displayed very carefully in the round. Many pieces of rice will be arranged in a very neatly row on fresh banana leaves, (each handful of rice is to symbolize a god, the Pu Peo has a polygamy belief, heaven, forest, soil, stream, wind ...) on each rice ball, there is a piece of boiled chicken eggs (boiled chicken eggs must be peeled and chopped into pieces). At the foot of the altar is made of fresh bamboo tree, lined with banana leaves is still green, two chickens are still alive, each chicken is tied with a rope, the rope is plugged into a pile. The worshiping ceremony is often long for a few hours, the priest holds a fresh bamboo branch, still leaves, waving around during the ceremony. Sometimes he held a dry fruit again. The worshiping songs are the respect of the people of Pu Peo for the forest god, heaven, earth ... and also an invitation to the gods to witness the worshiping ceremony, enjoy chicken offerings, goat meat and protect the villagers, for them to be healthy, to rain and wind, and crop. People in the village also swear before the forest god that will preserve the forest very well, who hunting or cutting trees in the forest is a violation with the promise and will be punished by the forest god. The forest is lush, the sky and earth harmonize, protecting the life of the people. Rain does not cause floods, sunshine does not cause drought, thunder storms are not deadly.
